ShrinkPDF is built so you don't have to trust us with your documents.

Where your PDF is processed

Previews are always rendered inside your browser. When this site is running without cloud storage configured, compression and watermarking happen in your browser too and your file never leaves your device. When cloud storage is configured, your PDF is sent over an encrypted connection so heavy files don't freeze your browser.

Automatic deletion

The uploaded original is deleted as soon as the compressed file is ready. The compressed file — and any share link you create — stops working and is removed after 7 days.

No accounts, no logs

You don't need to sign up. We don't keep records of file names, contents, or watermarks.

Network requests

The app loads its code and a small PDF rendering worker from a CDN. These requests do not contain your file data.
